Stepping into Spring 2017 with FatFace

My relationship with Fatface and their style goes waaaaay back.  I actually worked for FatFace when I was 17, took full advantage of my staff discount and established a wardrobe and style that has stayed with me ever since.  FatFace has been with me throughout these past 14 years with their rustic flair to be stylish and natural without too much effort.  Knitwear incomparable in quality; so soft and comfortable and yet hard wearing and long lasting.  Summer dresses that bring a smile to my face as I recall wearing them in some of my most treasured memories; taking Jonah our for a walk for the first time, holidaying in St Ives with Chris before we were a four...  I feel incredibly comfortable in myself when I wear FatFace clothes and loved taking some time to capture these items from their Spring Collection.

With the days getting lighter and the Winter thawing out, we have been venturing out more and more to explore our local landscape around Devon and Cornwall.  This 'Capsule Wardrobe' of Fatface goodness is sure to see me through these fresh months and I imagine further into the year, on chilly nights at the beach and lets face it... most likely a 'British' summer!

The Simone Geo Dress is loose and dippy with small buttons at the neck.  It's flattering and comfortable with a bohemian design printed on navy.  A great item to layer with and wear with leggings or tights and my Newham Chelsea Boots.

I've chosen a combination of bold colours and neutrals that when combined, look really great.  We went to Knightshayes National Trust property the other day and Chris snapped me in this fab combo.  I love the way that the Leona Cable Jumper is A-line rather than cinched at the bottom, which makes it a perfect option to layer over dresses.  These brown and burgundy Newham Chelsea boots are so comfy, I don't think I've gone a day without them since i bought them!  Super tempted by the Navy blue ones too...

This Hepburn Edge to Edge Cardigan is EVERYTHING... The colour is Redwood but it's also available in Forest Green, Phantom (grey), Misty Surf (Cream) and Navy.  They weave of the knit is really different and I love the deep pockets and 3/4 length sleeves.  Quite often, this is my 'go to' loungewear for an evening on the sofa as it's so cuddly and warm.
