How to wear a Breton Three Ways with Lazy Jacks

I love all things nautical... for those of you I that don't know (which would be surprising considering I go on about it aaaalllll the time) we live in North Devon and spend most weekends in Cornwall with Chris' family who live there.  We are beach people... I live in Havaianas for 6 months of the year, and boots the other half (anyone else??).  So this is why I'm super pleased that the 'Breton,' has had a bit of a come back!  'Breton,' or the 'Breton Stripe,' originated in the 1850s when it was introduced in Brittany as the official Seaman's uniform.  (I love a bit of history, me!)  They are available all over the place right now, but THIS Breton is my favourite.

It's super soft and comfortable, this Ladies Striped Panel Breton (£35.99) from Lazy Jacks is so lovely to wear.  I have styled the Twilight Breton three different ways in this feature to show you how versatile a piece this top can be!

1.  Over a shirt with jeans

This fitted shirt, also from Lazy Jacks is the perfect piece to layer with.  I don't usually wear shirts, but I really loved the way that it smartened up an everyday outfit worn here with Stratus jeans from Fatface.

2.  Layered over a dress

I do this type of thing most often; wear a dress and layer with a top over it.  I think this is a great piece to do that with because it isn't too thick but just perfect for a Spring day that isn't too warm.  Dress from Joules.

3.  with a coat and black jeans

This combo is actually my favourite and I was so please how well the Breton went with my Joules Field Coat.  I'm wearing it with comfortably with black jeans on a Saturday which we later spent wandering around Padstow.  The stripes give the outfit a bit of a boost and it was perfect for a day by the sea.

Overall I love my Breton and will be wearing it a lot this season.  Thanks so much Lazy Jacks!  Go grab yours now!

I have collaborated with Lazy Jacks to create this post.  All opinions are as always my own.
