Half-Term Craft Inspo

Jonah LOVES crafts... I love crafts too, in fact I used to have a Craft Blog called Crafty Mama and whenever we get the opportunity, Jonah and I get our overflowing box of sparkles, pipe cleaners and pom poms out a create an array of wonderful creations.

My absolute favourite duo of crafty mamas Laura and Tia aka The Little Button Diaries have a fabulous range of crafty books for inspiration to get your juices going, from pirate ships to superhero costumes, they are packed with fun activities.  The two that we currently have are The Big Book of 100 Little Activities and Mini Makers from The GMC Group.

We made this rocket ship under the instruction of one of these books... although theirs looked far better, Jonah was delighted with his!

In addition to working our way through these books this week, we have been trying out some of Hobbycraft's 'Hero' products which are basically fantastic little packs of craftiness that will keep you and your littles busy for not a lot of money at all.  All of these items are under £5, all available from Hobbycraft through this link!

We have been playing with:

       WOW box of craft

·      Picture Beads Tub and Peg Boards 4000 Pieces

·      Air dry clay

Five quid for all this!

There was so much variety, it was difficult to decide what to make!

Jonah really enjoyed creating an alien monster with googly eyes all from the Giant Box of Crafts and even more than that, we created a special decorative play with the Air Dry Clay for Grandma's birthday.

Thanks so much Hobbycraft for the inspiration!  Check out their website for more.
